At the Colorado Burlesque Festival in July, I got to take a class with Trixie and Monkey. I'm a theatre person, so I appreciated the improv techniques covered in the class; dancers need improv skills as much as actors do. They shared great brainstorming techniques and made sure everyone in the class actively participated in the class. It was a great deal of fun and I'd recommend it to anyone trying to create a unique new act, whether as a solo performer, a duo or group.
